Co-Energy Presents the Next Generation of Waste-to-Value

9 November 2025, Ben-Gurion University at the Negev

Co-Energy’s founder and Chairman, Mr. Amir Cohen, presented at EnergyCom’s seminar on waste to energy. The presentation focused on Co-Energy’s disruptive approach, taking waste-to-energy to its next evolution which is broader and more holistic perspective.

The idea is waste-to-value as a whole, realizing the full potential encompassed in plastic and organic waste. This potential exceeds mere energy production. Plastic waste can be converted to crude oil which can be used to produced ethylene; biomass waste can be converted to biochar; and even the simple solution for downsizing and reducing the mass and volume of waste by two-thirds, these in and of themselves are significant uses for waste.
